The 3board’s policies under this paragraph shall provide that, no later than September 1, 42026, all credits for core general education courses, as defined in s. 36.31 (2m) (a) 2., 5are transferable between institutions within the system and satisfy general 6education requirements at the receiving institution. No later than December 31, 72025, the board shall submit a proposal to the joint committee on employment 8relations related to the transfer policies. AB50-ASA2,1359Section 135. 36.11 (13) of the statutes is created to read: AB50-ASA2,252,161036.11 (13) Institutions’ funding allocation on the basis of enrollment 11decline and course credits awarded. (a) From the appropriation under s. 1220.285 (1) (a), the board shall allocate a total of $15,250,000 in each fiscal year to 13institutions that have had, on average, a decline in student enrollment in the 14immediately preceding 10-year period. The board shall allocate the money to each 15qualifying institution in proportion to the full-time equivalent student enrollment 16at the institution in the most recent academic year for which this data is available. AB50-ASA2,252,2217(b) From the appropriation under s. 20.285 (1) (a), the board shall allocate a 18total of $11,250,000 in each fiscal year to institutions in proportion to the aggregate 19number of course credits awarded to undergraduate students enrolled in the 20institution in the most recent academic year for which this data is available, except 21that no institution may receive more than 25 percent of the total amount of funds 22allocated under this paragraph.
