2020 Legislative Interim Research Report on the Organization of Wisconsin's Workforce Development System

This report will review the organization of Wisconsin’s current workforce development system, including the roles played by different governmental entities to develop Wisconsin’s workforce. The report will focus on the structure, interrelationship, and coordination between the state’s workforce development programs, taking into account the separate federal requirements that apply to certain programs. The report will consider whether any programs may be consolidated or otherwise reorganized to strengthen their effectiveness and will include recommendations from stakeholders to improve the structural framework for administering workforce development programs in Wisconsin.
