NR 230.601(3)(3)“Process wastewater” means any water which, during manufacturing or processing, comes into contact with or results from the production or use of any raw material, intermediate product, finished product, byproduct, or waste product, except for contaminated nonprocess wastewater.

NR 230.631NR 230.631Specialized definitions. The following definitions apply to the terms used in this subchapter:
NR 230.631(1)(1)“Contaminated nonprocess wastewater” means any water which, during manufacturing or processing, comes into incidental contact with any raw material, intermediate product, finished product, byproduct, or waste product.
NR 230.631(2)(2)“Incidental contact” means contact resulting from:
NR 230.631(2)(a)(a) Rainfall runoff;
NR 230.631(2)(b)(b) Accidental spills;
NR 230.631(2)(c)(c) Accidental leaks which are caused by failure of process equipment and which are repaired within the shortest reasonable time not to exceed 24 hours after discovery; and
NR 230.631(2)(d)(d) Discharges from safety showers and related personal safety equipment.
