AJR22,1,32Whereas, the State of Wisconsin recognizes that our children are our greatest 3resource; and AJR22,1,54Whereas, our children need emotional and parental support from both parents 5to be as successful as possible; and AJR22,1,76Whereas, separated parents who choose to share parenting duties 7significantly decrease the chances of undesirable youth troubles and struggles; and AJR22,1,98Whereas, shared parenting is shown to have a significantly positive effect on 9children’s well-being; and AJR22,1,1110Whereas, Wisconsin is currently one of the leading states in shared parenting 11outcomes for children with separated parents; and AJR22,1,1412Whereas, increasing public awareness of the importance of providing children 13with the parental support they need from both parents benefits Wisconsin’s 14children, their parents, and all of Wisconsin’s citizens; now, therefore, be it AJR22,2,3
