AR25,,33Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl was born in Marshfield, Wisconsin, on November 25, 1935, and graduated from Marshfield High School in 1953; and
AR25,,44Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl married Kathleen J. Stashek on May 13, 1961, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids; and
AR25,,55Whereas, before serving as a legislator, Donald Hasenohrl worked as a stainless steel fabricator, farmer, production expediter, and fire fighter; and
AR25,,66Whereas, in 1974, Donald Hasenohrl was elected to represent the people of the 70th Assembly District and went on to serve for 26 years until his retirement in 2001; and
AR25,,77Whereas, during his time in the assembly, Donald Hasenohrl was deeply involved in transportation and traffic safety issues, serving as the chair of the Assembly Committee on Transportation for 10 years; and
AR25,,88Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Order of Elks, the Eagles Club, and the Wood County Democratic Board, and served as a member and director of the Wisconsin State Fair Association; and
AR25,,99Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 88; and
AR25,,1010Whereas, Donald Hasenohrl is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Kathleen, and their three children: Dena, Charles, and Donald; and
