AB797,,36 (3) The department shall ensure that each inmate in a state correctional institution is provided with a monthly personal hygiene stipend of $25 to purchase personal hygiene products.

AB797,2 Section 2. 302.074 of the statutes is created to read:

AB797,,38 302.074 County jail or house of correction inmate personal hygiene products. (1) The sheriff shall ensure that each county jail or house of correction has a commissary that provides all of the following personal hygiene products for acquisition by inmates:

AB797,,39 (a) To be sold for no more than the price set for the same product under s. 302.073 (2) (a), at least 2 varieties of all of the following products:

AB797,,40 1. Deodorant.

AB797,,41 2. Antiperspirant.

AB797,,42 3. Shampoo.

AB797,,43 4. Hair conditioner.

AB797,,44 5. Liquid body wash.

AB797,,45 6. Bar soap.

AB797,,46 7. Body lotion.

AB797,,47 8. Face wash.

AB797,,48 9. Facial lotion.

AB797,,49 10. Toothpaste.

AB797,,50 11. Toothbrush.

AB797,,51 12. Dental floss.

AB797,,52 13. Razor.

AB797,,53 14. Shaving cream.

AB797,,54 15. Sunscreen.

AB797,,55 16. Comb.

AB797,,56 17. Hairbrush.

AB797,,57 18. Cleansing wipes.

AB797,,58 (b) To be sold at no more than the price set for the same product under s. 302.073 (2) (b), at least 2 varieties of all of the following culturally sensitive personal hygiene products:

AB797,3 Section 3. Fiscal changes.

AB797,,67 (1) Personal hygiene stipends. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of corrections under s. 20.410 (1) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2023-24 is increased by $6,450,000 to provide personal hygiene stipends under s. 302.073 (3). In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the department of corrections under s. 20.410 (1) (a), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2024-25 is increased by $6,450,000 to provide personal hygiene stipends under s. 302.073 (3).
