Whereas, May 2022 marks the 155th anniversary of the Leinenkugel's brewery

Whereas, in May 1867, 22 years after immigrating to Wisconsin from Germany,
5Jacob Leinenkugel started his brewery in Chippewa Falls, finding its pure water and
6rich soil perfect for growing grains and brewing beer; and

Whereas, the Jacob Leinenkugel Brewing Company has been a family-run
8business for the past 155 years, with its legacy being carried on by the sixth
9generation of Leinenkugels; and

Whereas, Leinenkugel's combines German brewing traditions with Wisconsin
11innovation to create hand-crafted beers that have earned national praise; and
