1An Act relating to: inspectors of dog breeding or dealing establishments.
Analysis by the Legislative Reference Bureau
This bill authorizes five positions in the Department of Agriculture, Trade and
Consumer Protection to inspect dog breeding or dealing establishments. Under
current law, dog breeders and dog dealers must obtain an annual license from
DATCP and are subject to inspections at least once every two years.

Inspectors of dog breeding or dealing establishments. The authorized
4FTE positions for the department of agriculture, trade and consumer protection are
5increased by 5.0 SEG positions on the effective date of this subsection to be funded
6from the appropriation under s. 20.115 (2) (q) for the purpose of inspections of
7premises under s. 173.41 (6).
