The Honorable, the Senate:
In order to pursue career opportunities in the private sector, I find it necessary to vacate my position on the State Senate. This letter is to inform you of my resignation from the Wisconsin State Senate, pursuant to Wisconsin Statute 17.01 (3), effective at the close of business on May 15, 2020.
It has been my distinct honor and privilege to serve the residents of western Wisconsin as a Representative in the 95th Assembly District and as a Senator in the 32nd Senate District. I wish you and the entire Legislature the best as you see to tackle the challenges ahead.
Please do not hesitate to contact me personally if you have any questions or require additional information.
