2020 Legislative Interim Research Report on Streamlining the Hunting, Trapping, and Fishing Licensure System

This report will describe the hunting, trapping, and fishing licensure system in Wisconsin. Specifically, the report will focus on the variety of licenses and approvals, including fees, discounts, and options, available to certain groups or individuals. In addition, the report will include recommendations from stakeholders, the Department of Natural Resources, and other relevant state agencies for legislation that streamlines and simplifies the licensure system and increases the system’s ease of use.
