SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 214

SB214-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB214-SA1,1,3 1. Page 4, line 20: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 5, line 10, and substitute:

SB214-SA1,1,9 “(5) Any health care provider registered under this section shall maintain and have in effect malpractice liability insurance coverage that covers services provided to patients in this state and that is evidenced by personal liability coverage in the amounts specified for health care providers under s. 655.23 (4) or by coverage under a group liability policy providing individual coverage for the health care provider in the amounts specified under s. 655.23 (4).”.

SB214-SA1,1,11 “Section 1m. 655.002 (1) (L) of the statutes is created to read:

SB214-SA1,2,2 655.002 (1) (L) A health care provider registered to provide telehealth under s. 440.18.”.
