AB50-ASA2-AA4,35,22211. The person was naturalized pursuant to section 2 (1) of the federal Hmong
22Veterans Naturalization Act of 2000, P.L. 106-207.
AB50-ASA2-AA4,36,4232. The person is a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident of the United

1States and the secretary has determined that the person served honorably with a
2special guerrilla unit or irregular forces operating from a base in Laos in support of
3the armed forces of the United States at any time during the period beginning
4February 28, 1961, and ending September 18, 1978.
AB50-ASA2-AA4,565Section 56. 45.01 (12) (k) of the statutes is repealed.

AB50-ASA2-AA4,37,15123. The person enrolls in a district school and provides the district board with
13proof that the person has filed or will file an application for lawful permanent
14resident status with the U.S. citizenship and immigration services as soon as the
15person is eligible to do so.
AB50-ASA2-AA4,6216Section 62. 38.22 (6) (g) of the statutes is created to read:

19band in this state or is a member of a federally recognized tribe in Minnesota,

AB50-ASA2-AA4,38,2212. The person has resided in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Iowa, or
22Michigan, or in any combination of these states, for at least 12 months immediately

1preceding the beginning of any semester or session in which the person enrolls in a
2district school.
AB50-ASA2-AA4,93423Section 9342. Initial applicability; Technical College System.
AB50-ASA2-AA4,38,64(1) Nonresident tuition exemption for certain undocumented
5individuals. The treatment of s. 38.22 (6) (e) first applies to persons who enroll for
6the semester or session following the effective date of this subsection.
AB50-ASA2-AA4,38,97(2) Nonresident tuition exemption for certain tribal members. The
8treatment of s. 38.22 (6) (g) first applies to persons who enroll for the semester or
