1An Act to repeal 20.455 (5) (c); and
to create 20.455 (5) (c) of the statutes;
2relating to: sexual assault victim services grants, child advocacy grants, and
3domestic abuse grants and making an appropriation.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do
enact as follows:

2. 20.455 (5) (c) of the statutes is created to read:

Crime victim grants. Biennially, the amounts in the schedule for
2the grants under 2023 Wisconsin Act .... (this act), section 4.

3. 20.455 (5) (c) of the statutes, as created by 2023 Wisconsin Act ....
4(this act), is repealed.

Sexual assault victim services grants. Of the moneys appropriated under
7s. 20.455 (5) (c), in the 2023-25 fiscal biennium the department of justice shall
8allocate $6,400,000 to provide sexual assault victim services grants under s. 165.93
9(2).

Domestic abuse grants. Of the moneys appropriated under s. 20.455 (5) (c),
11in the 2023-25 fiscal biennium the department of justice shall allocate $2,400,000
12to provide domestic abuse grants under s. 49.165.

Child advocacy grants. Of the moneys appropriated under s. 20.455 (5) (c),
14in the 2023-25 fiscal biennium the department of justice shall allocate $1,200,000
15to provide child advocacy grants under s. 165.96.

5.
Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication,
17except as follows:
