(4) (g) 1. In this paragraph, “on-line medical control” means direct
8contact between a medical consultation physician, physician assistant, or certified
9advanced practice nurse prescriber and an emergency medical responder or
10emergency medical services practitioner for the purpose of providing medical
11direction.

2. An emergency medical responder or emergency medical services practitioner
13who is 17 years of age shall consult with an on-line medical control prior to releasing
1any patient without ambulance transport if the emergency medical responder or
2emergency medical services practitioner is the primary patient care provider.
