SB225-SA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB225-SA1,1,2 21. Page 3, line 19: delete lines 19 and 20 and substitute:
SB225-SA1,1,5 3“218.10 (1n) “Distributor” means a resident or nonresident who, in whole or
4in part, sells or distributes new recreational vehicles to recreational vehicle dealers
5or who maintains distributor representatives.”.

SB225-SA1,18g 3Section 18g. 218.11 (2) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
SB225-SA1,2,94 218.11 (2) (e) A recreational vehicle dealer or an applicant for a recreational
5vehicle dealer license shall provide and maintain in force a bond or irrevocable letter
6of credit of not less than $50,000. The bond or letter of credit shall be executed in the
7name of the department of transportation for the benefit of any person who sustains
8a loss because of an act of a recreational vehicle dealer that constitutes grounds for
9the suspension or revocation of a license under sub. (6).
SB225-SA1,18j 10Section 18j. 218.11 (4) of the statutes is created to read:
SB225-SA1,2,1211 218.11 (4) (a) No manufacturer or distributor may engage in business as a
12manufacturer or distributor in this state without a license.
SB225-SA1,2,1913 (b) No manufacturers' or distributors' recreational vehicles may be sold in this
14state unless either the manufacturer on direct dealerships of domestic vehicles or the
15distributor on indirect dealerships of either domestic or foreign vehicles are licensed
16under par. (a). The obtaining of a license under par. (a) shall conclusively establish
17that a manufacturer or distributor is doing business in this state and shall subject
18the licensee to all provisions of the Wisconsin statutes regulating manufacturers and
19distributors.
SB225-SA1,18m 20Section 18m. 218.11 (6) (o) of the statutes is created to read:
SB225-SA1,2,2221 218.11 (6) (o) Being a dealer, manufacturer, or distributor that violates any
22provision of s. 218.161 to 218.167.
SB225-SA1,18w 23Section 18w. 218.15 of the statutes is amended to read:
SB225-SA1,3,2 24218.15 Sale or lease of used recreational vehicles. In the sale or lease of
25any used recreational vehicle, the sales invoice or lease agreement shall contain the

1point of manufacture of the used recreational vehicle, and the name of the
2manufacturer and the name and address of the previous owner.”.
