(3) (c) No physician who performs a medical intervention designed or
5intended to prevent the death of a pregnant woman is considered to have violated
6this section, except that the physician shall make reasonable medical efforts under
7the circumstances to preserve both the life of the woman and the life of the unborn
8child in a manner consistent with conventional medical practice as provided in par.
9(b). Medical treatment provided to the woman by a physician that results in
10accidental or unintentional injury or death to the unborn child is not a violation of
11this section.”.
