AB653-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB653-AA1,1,5 1. Page 4, line 11: after “incapacitated” insert “or, for purposes of consent to admission from a hospital to a facility, as defined in s. 50.01 (1m), a person who has been a patient in a hospital immediately prior to the admission and who is incapacitated".

AB653-AA1,1,9 2. Page 5, line 11: after “incapacitated” insert “or, for purposes of consent to admission from a hospital to a facility, as defined in s. 50.01 (1m), whenever a person who has been a patient in a hospital immediately prior to the admission is incapacitated".

AB653-AA1,1,11 3. Page 7, line 21: delete “A surrogate decision maker" and substitute “Notwithstanding any requirement under s. 50.06 (2), a surrogate decision maker".

AB653-AA1,2,2 4. Page 7, line 22: after “concerning" insert “admission to a facility, as defined under s. 50.01 (1m),".
