ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 1012

AB1012-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB1012-AA1,1,3 1. Page 3, line 11: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 4, line 2, and substitute:

AB1012-AA1,1,10 “7. The information is from a death record of an individual whose death occurred in this state and for whom the state registrar has previously disclosed birth record information to the department of financial institutions under subd. 6. for the purpose of administering s. 224.50 (3m). At a minimum, the state registrar shall provide the minimum necessary identifiers to successfully facilitate matching to the department of financial institutions' account rosters for the program under s. 224.50 (3m) along with the date of death, as defined in s. 69.01 (6g), for each decedent.”.

AB1012-AA1,2,8 4. Page 5, line 16: delete the material beginning with “whenever" and ending with line 19 and substitute “if no deposit has been made for a child under subd. 1. and a parent of the child notifies the department and provides proof satisfactory to the department that the child was born or adopted in this state and resides in this state, the department shall deposit at least $25 into an account established under par. (b) for the child.”.

AB1012-AA1,2,11 6. Page 7, line 16: delete “program participant reaches 28 years of age" and substitute “date that is 28 years after the program participant's date of birth".
