SENATE AMENDMENT 2, TO SENATE BILL 207

SB207-SA2,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB207-SA2,1,2 1. Page 3, line 16: after that line insert:

SB207-SA2,1,5 “(c) “State agency” means an association, authority, board, department, commission, independent agency, institution, office, society, or other body in state government created or authorized to be created by the constitution or any law.”.

SB207-SA2,1,6 2. Page 3, line 17: before “No" insert “(a)".

SB207-SA2,1,8 3. Page 3, line 18: delete “county or municipality" and substitute “state agency, county, or municipality".

SB207-SA2,1,9 4. Page 3, line 20: after that line insert:

SB207-SA2,1,11 “(b) No official or agent of a state agency, county, or municipality may enter into a contract related to election administration that includes any of the following:

SB207-SA2,1,12 1. Any requirement governing election administration.

SB207-SA2,2,2 2. The transfer of any duty or power related to election administration to a person not having that duty or power under the laws of this state.”.

SB207-SA2,2,4 5. Page 3, line 21: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with page 4, line 11.
