SB115-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB115-SA1,1,9 1. Page 2, line 4: after “approval." insert “The examining board shall approve on an expedited basis all continuing education programs sponsored by the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association or the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin. The examining board may randomly audit a continuing education program sponsored by the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association or the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin for compliance with requirements under this chapter and rules promulgated under this chapter, and may disapprove a continuing education program based on the result of the random audit.”.

SB115-SA1,1,10 2. Page 2, line 5: delete lines 5 to 12 and substitute:

SB115-SA1,2,5 “(1) In this section, “program sponsor" means the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association, the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin, the American Chiropractic Association, the International Chiropractors Association, and a college of chiropractic approved by the examining board, and a college of medicine or osteopathy accredited by an accrediting body listed as nationally recognized by the secretary of the federal department of education. “Program sponsor" does not include an individual, organization, or institution of higher education approved under s. 46.03 (38) to provide instruction in the use of an automated external defibrillator.”.
