SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 836

AB836-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB836-SA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 1: after “programs" insert “and making an appropriation".

AB836-SA1,1,6 2. Page 2, line 8: delete the material beginning with “2023," and ending with “(c)" on line 9 and substitute “2023. From the appropriation under s. 20.292 (1) (d), and notwithstanding s. 38.28 (2), the system board shall distribute an additional $1,000,000 in state aids”.

AB836-SA1,1,7 3. Page 2, line 12: delete lines 12 to 16 and substitute:

AB836-SA1,1,8 “ Section 2m. Fiscal changes.

AB836-SA1,1,12 (1) State aids for technical colleges. In the schedule under s. 20.005 (3) for the appropriation to the technical college system board under s. 20.292 (1) (d), the dollar amount for fiscal year 2022-23 is increased by $1,000,000 for police academy programs under Section 1 (1) (b) of this act.”.
