AB67-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB67-AA1,1,3 21. Page 3, line 16: after “(c)," insert “within 14 days after taking possession of
3the sexual assault kit,".
AB67-AA1,1,5 42. Page 3, line 17: delete the material beginning with “the rules" and ending
5with “kit." on line 19 and substitute “sub. (4) (b).”.
AB67-AA1,1,6 63. Page 4, line 11: after “agency" insert “at any time".
AB67-AA1,1,7 74. Page 4, line 12: after “process the kit" insert “within 60 days".
AB67-AA1,1,9 85. Page 4, line 21: delete the material beginning with that line and ending with

AB67-AA1,3f 6Section 3f. 165.845 (1r) (a) (intro.) of the statutes, as affected by 2021

, is amended to read:
AB67-AA1,2,138 165.845 (1r) (a) (intro.) Collect information concerning the number and nature
9of offenses known to have been committed in this state and such other information
10as may be useful in the study of crime and the administration of justice. The
11department of justice may determine any other information to be obtained regarding
12crime, evidence, and justice system data or statistics. The information shall include
13all of the following:

, is amended to read:

AB67-AA1,3m 19Section 3m. 165.845 (1r) (a) 3. of the statutes is created to read:
AB67-AA1,2,2020 165.845 (1r) (a) 3. Data concerning sexual assault kits collected in this state.
AB67-AA1,3p 21Section 3p. 165.845 (1r) (b) of the statutes, as affected by 2021 Wisconsin Act
2250
, is amended to read:
AB67-AA1,3,423 165.845 (1r) (b) Furnish all reporting officials with instructions that specify
24the nature of the information required under par. (a), the process for submitting the
25information,
a simple format in which to submit the information, the time it is to be

1forwarded, the method of classifying it, and any other matters that facilitate
2collection and compilation. The format provided under this paragraph shall, to the
3greatest extent feasible, minimize the time required by each law enforcement officer
4to submit the required information.
AB67-AA1,3s 5Section 3s. 165.845 (1r) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
AB67-AA1,3,86 165.845 (1r) (e) Publish data at least annually on law enforcement agency
7compliance with the reporting requirement under par. (a) 3. relating to sexual
8assault kits.”.
AB67-AA1,3,10 96. Page 7, line 1: delete the material beginning with “(1) (a)," and ending with
10“and (2)," on line 2 and substitute “(1g) (g), (1r) (a) (intro.), 1., and 3., (b), and (e),”.
