ASSEMBLY AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 605

AB605-AA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB605-AA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 5: delete lines 5 to 12 and substitute:

AB605-AA1,1,3 “2. “Workforce housing” means housing to which all of the following apply:

AB605-AA1,1,5 a. Housing costs, as defined under s. 16.301 (3) (a) and (b), do not exceed, or are not expected to exceed, 30 percent of the household's annual income.

AB605-AA1,1,9 b. For housing intended to be rented, initial occupancy by individuals whose annual household income is 60 percent of area median family income to 100 percent of area median family income in the county in which the housing is located, as published annually by the federal department of housing and urban development.

AB605-AA1,1,13 c. For housing intended to be occupied by the owner, initial occupancy by individuals whose annual household income is not more than 120 percent of area median family income in the county in which the housing is located, as published annually by the federal department of housing and urban development.”.

AB605-AA1,2,2 2. Page 2, line 14: after “political subdivision" insert “that has a population of 50,000 or more".

AB605-AA1,2,3 3. Page 3, line 6: delete “40,000" and substitute “10,000".

AB605-AA1,2,5 4. Page 3, line 7: after “political subdivision" insert “that has a population of 50,000 or more".

AB605-AA1,2,9 5. Page 3, line 9: delete the material beginning with “if" and ending with “delinquency" on line 12 and substitute “a lien may be placed on the property that benefits from the improvement at the time the loan is made and may be enforced at the time of the sale of the property if the loan is not repaid.”.

AB605-AA1,2,11 6. Page 3, line 9: after “political subdivision" insert “that has a population of 50,000 or more".
