AB291-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
AB291-AA1,1,2 21. Page 1, line 1: after “Wisconsin" insert “and technical college".
AB291-AA1,1,3 32. Page 1, line 4: delete “Board" and substitute “Board of Regents".
AB291-AA1,1,4 43. Page 1, line 4: after that line insert:
AB291-AA1,1,5 5(am) “District board” has the meaning given in s. 38.01 (6).”.
AB291-AA1,1,6 64. Page 1, line 6: delete “If" and substitute “Subject to subs. (4) and (5), if".
AB291-AA1,1,7 75. Page 1, line 7: delete “board" and substitute “Board of Regents".
AB291-AA1,1,8 86. Page 2, line 2: after that line insert:
AB291-AA1,1,12 9“(3) Subject to subs. (4) and (5), if a technical college holds an in-person
10commencement ceremony for graduating students in 2021, the district board may
11not deny a parent or guardian of a graduating student the opportunity to attend the
12student's in-person commencement ceremony.

1(4) Subject to sub. (5), the Board of Regents, an institution, or a district board
2may issue to graduating students tickets for an in-person commencement ceremony
3and limit attendance at the ceremony to those individuals holding tickets if the
4Board of Regents, institution, or district board issues at least as many tickets to each
5graduating student as the student has parents or guardians.
AB291-AA1,2,96 (5) This section does not preclude the Board of Regents, an institution, a district
7board, or a law enforcement agency from enforcing any restraining order or other
8administrative or court order against a graduating student's parent or guardian
9applicable to the parent or guardian's presence at the commencement ceremony.”.
