SB72-AA1,1,11 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:
SB72-AA1,1,4 21. Page 1, line 3: after “program" insert “and modifying an administrative rule
3of the Department of Safety and Professional Services regarding renewal of a
4registered electrician enrollment for a youth apprentice".
SB72-AA1,1,5 52. Page 2, line 22: after that line insert:
SB72-AA1,1,7 6 Section 3m. SPS 305.45 (2) (c) 2. of the administrative code is amended to
7read:
SB72-AA1,1,128 SPS 305.45 (2) (c) 2. The renewal of an enrollment as a registered electrician
9shall be contingent upon the registered electrician obtaining at least 24 hours of
10acceptable continuing education prior to the expiration date of the enrollment as
11specified in s. SPS 305.08 and Table 305.06, except as provided in subd. subds. 3. and
123m.

1Section 4m. SPS 305.45 (2) (c) 3m. of the administrative code is created to
2read:
SB72-AA1,2,53 SPS 305.45 (2) (c) 3m. The continuing education requirements under subd. 2.
4do not apply to a person who is enrolled in a youth apprenticeship program under s.
5106.13, Stats., that includes installing, repairing, or maintaining electrical wiring.

SB72-AA1,2,97 (1) The treatment of s. SPS 305.45 (2) (c) 2. and 3m., Wis. Adm. Code, first
8applies to an application to renew an enrollment as a registered electrician that
9expires on the effective date of this subsection.
SB72-AA1,6m 10Section 6m. Effective date.
SB72-AA1,2,1211 (1) Notwithstanding s. 227.265, this act takes effect on the day after
12publication.”.
