SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO SENATE BILL 61

SB61-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

SB61-SA1,1,2 1. Page 2, line 3: delete “homeless".

SB61-SA1,1,3 2. Page 2, line 11: delete lines 11 to 13 and substitute:

SB61-SA1,1,5 “(c) One of the following confirms that the minor is an unaccompanied youth as defined under 42 USC 11434a (6):

SB61-SA1,1,8 1. A local educational agency liaison designated under 42 USC 11432 (g) (1) (J) (ii) who has obtained the minor's consent to disclose the minor's status as an unaccompanied youth.

SB61-SA1,1,10 2. If a local education agency liaison is not available, an employee of the shelter facility or transitional living program who conducts intake.”.
