1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

21. Page 1, line 6: delete “counselors and" and substitute “counselors; requiring
3education on suicide prevention for persons conducting sales of firearms for firearms
4dealers; and".

52. Page 2, line 1: before that line insert:

6“ Section 1e. 175.37 (title) of the statutes is amended to read:

7175.37 (title) Warning whenever transferring a firearm; suicide
8prevention education.

9Section 1m. 175.37 (1m) of the statutes is created to read:

10 175.37 (1m) (a) In this subsection, “firearms dealer” has the meaning given in
11s. 175.35 (1) (ar).

12 (b) A person who conducts sales of firearms for a firearms dealer shall complete
13at least 2 hours of education programs on suicide prevention.

1(c) A firearms dealer shall certify to the department of justice that a person who
2conducts sales of firearms for the firearms dealer has completed the education
3required under par. (b).”.
