SENATE AMENDMENT 1, TO ASSEMBLY BILL 110

AB110-SA1,1,1 At the locations indicated, amend the bill as follows:

AB110-SA1,1,3 1. Page 4, line 6: after that line, on page 1, line 13, of the material inserted by assembly amendment 1, delete that line and substitute:

AB110-SA1,1,5 “or (c), nor may the state superintendent appoint a member to the advisory committee under sub. (4) (d), if any of the following apply to the individual:”.

AB110-SA1,1,6 2. Page 4, line 7: before that line insert:

AB110-SA1,1,10 “(c) Notwithstanding par. (b), the state superintendent may appoint an individual to the advisory committee under sub. (4) (d) if the disqualifying conduct under par. (c) applies to the individual solely because of the individual's employment at the department of public instruction.”.

AB110-SA1,2,10 7. One member who represents the largest statewide organization representing parents of pupils.

AB110-SA1,2,12 8. One member who represents the largest statewide labor organization representing teachers and is a classroom teacher at an elementary school.

AB110-SA1,2,14 9. One member who is a neuropsychologist and has extensive experience in diagnosing dyslexia in children between the ages of 4 and 18.”.
