2019 WISCONSIN ACT 92
An Act relating to: eligibility for adoption assistance.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows:
92,1 Section 1. DCF 50.09 (1) (b) 1. and 2. of the administrative code are amended to read:
DCF 50.09 (1) (b) 1. The child is 10 7 years of age or older if age is the only factor in determining eligibility.
2. The child is a member of a sibling group of 3 2 or more children that must be placed together.
92,1g Section 1g. Nonstatutory provisions.
(1) The department of children and families may submit a request under s. 13.101 (4) to the joint committee on finance to transfer moneys from another appropriation account under s. 20.437 to the appropriation account under s. 20.437 (1) (dd) in the 2nd year of the current fiscal biennium to fund adoption assistance under s. 48.48 (12).
92,2m Section 2m. Effective dates. This act takes effect on the day after publication, except as follows:
(1) Adoption assistance eligibility. The treatment of s. DCF 50.09 (1) (b) 1. and 2., Wis. Adm. Code, takes effect as provided in s. 227.265.
