Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 11, 2025, the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter ATCP 10, relating to animal disease and movement, including fees, and affecting small businesses. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 014-24, was approved by the Governor on February 1, 2024, published in Register No. 818A1, on February 5, 2024, and approved by DATCP Board on May 9, 2024. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 11, September 15, and September 17, 2025. Written comments will be received through October 15, 2025.
