NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD
The Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) announces that, pursuant to s.
227.136 (1), Stats., a preliminary public hearing and comment period will be held regarding the following Scope Statements that were published in Wisconsin Administrative Register 816A3 on December 18, 2023: - SS 114-23: proposed permanent rule revising Wis. Admin. Code s. DWD 80.32 relating to worker's compensation minimum permanent partial disability ratings. - SS 113-23: proposed permanent rule revising Wis. Admin. Code ch. 80 relating to minor and technical changes to the worker's compensation program. - SS 115-23: proposed permanent rule revising Wis. Admin. code ch. 81 relating to worker's compensation treatment guidelines. The Scope Statements may be viewed by clicking the above hyperlinks.

Appearances at the Hearing and Submittal of Written Comments
The purpose of the hearing will be to hear comments on the Scope Statements from any member of the public who wishes to attend as described in the above instructions. Those interested in making an oral presentation will be given the opportunity to do so. Alternatively, written comments may be submitted without attending the hearing. Written comments may be sent to the agency contact person listed below or by email to DWDAdminRules@dwd.wisconsin.gov. The deadline for the submission of written comments is January 16, 2024, at 5 p.m. Written comments received by this date will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.
