Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 8, 2023, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect ch. NR 10, relating to establishing the 2023-2024 migratory bird season framework and regulations.
Statement of Scope
The statement of scope for this rule, SS 083-22 was approved by the Governor on October 20, 2022, published in Register No. 802A4 on October 24, 2022, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on December 14, 2022. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on September 11, 2023.
