Notice of Preliminary Public Hearing and Comment Period on Statement of Scope

The Department of Financial Institutions announces that it will hold a public hearing on Statement of Scope SS 037-23, a statement of scope indicating the Department of Financial Institutions’ intent to engage in rulemaking to revise DFI-Bkg 73, Wis. Adm. Code, relating to authorizing one or more additional fee structures and establishing maximum fees or charges that may be made thereunder by adjustment service companies, and modifying DFI-Bkg 73 to incorporate certain requirements of the federal Telemarketing Sales Rule. In accordance with s. 227.136, Stats., the Department of Financial Institutions will hold a public a public hearing and receive public comments regarding the proposed rulemaking as described in SS 037-23, as follows, at the time and place shown below.
