Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On March 3, 2020, the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules repeals and recreates ATCP 76 relating to the Safety, Maintenance, and Operation of Public Pools and Water Attractions.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 005-20, was approved by the Governor on February 7, 2020, published in Register No. 770A2, on February 19, 2020 and approved by Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection on March 5, 2020. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
The department will hold public hearings on the following dates:
March 29, 2020 in Green Bay,
March 30, 2020 in Wausau,
March 31, 2020 in Eau Claire,
April 1, 2020 in Madison – Virtually,
April 7, 2020 in Wisconsin Dells, and
April 8, 2020 in Elkhorn.
