Notice of Submittal of a Proposed Rule to the
Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
The Department of Children and Families submitted a proposed rule to the Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse on December 14, 2021.
Analysis
The proposed rule affects DCF 12, 13, 39, 40, 50, 52, 55, 56, 58, and 59, relating to technical corrections and minor updates to child welfare rules.
Statement of Scope
The statement of scope for the rule, SS 067-21, was approved by the Governor on August 20, 2021; published in Register No. 788A4 on August 23, 2021; and approved by Secretary Emilie Amundson on September 22, 2021.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held via Zoom on January 25, 2022. The organizational unit primarily responsible for the promulgation of the proposed rule is the department’s Division of Safety and Permanence.
