Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On September 23, 2021, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter NR 159, relating to regulating fire fighting foam that contains certain contaminants.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 015-20, was approved by the Governor on March 20, 2020, published in Register No. 771B on March 30, 2020, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on June 24, 2020. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on November 4, 2021 at 1pm.
