NOTICE OF SUBMITTAL OF PROPOSED RULE TO
TO LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule amends ATCP 16 relating Dog Sellers and Dog Facility Operators.
Statement of Scope and Proposed Rule
The scope statement for this rule, SS 093-20, was approved by the Governor on July 1, 2020, published in Register No. 775A2 on July 13, 2020, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.135(2), Stats., on August 20, 2020. The proposed hearing draft of the rule was approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by s. 227.136(2), Stats., on July 22, 2021. The department will hold public hearings on this rule on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 and Thursday, September 2, 2021, through a means that is fully compliant with Wisconsin law and COVID-19 protocols.
