NOTICE OF SUBMISSION OF PROPOSED RULES TO
THE JOINT LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL STAFF
NOTICE IS GIVEN, pursuant to s. 227.14 (4m), Stats., that on this date, the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin submitted a proposed rule to the Legislative Council Staff (Rules Clearinghouse) for review. The proposed rule, Commission docket 1-AC-251, deals with the Universal Service Fund (USF) Program under Wis. Admin Code. ch. PSC 160 and will revise the Wisconsin Lifeline rules to conform with applicable Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC) federal standards. This proposed rule will also clarify other provisions of PSC 160 pertaining to the Telecommunications Equipment Purchase Program (TEPP) vouchers. The Statement of Scope for this rule, SS 011-19, was approved by the Governor on January 3, 2019, published in Wisconsin Administrative Register No. 757A3 on January 14, 2019, and approved by the Commission on April 2, 2020.
A public hearing will be held on Monday, April 5, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. The hearing does not have a physical location and will be held virtually.
