Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On June 18, 2020, the Department of Transportation submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rule affects Chapter Trans 313, relating to Breath Alcohol Ignition Interlock Devices.
Statement of Scope and Proposed Rule
The scope statement for rule SS 111-18 was approved by Governor Walker on November 7, 2018 and published in the Wisconsin Administrative Register No. 755A2 on November 12, 2018. The proposed order amending permanent rule was approved by the Secretary of the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation Craig Thompson as required by s. 227.135 (2), Wis. WisDOT intends to conduct a public hearing on July 22, 2020, at 9am via remote access. Formal notice of the hearing will be submitted in the near future.
