Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On August 29, 2019, the Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work Examining Board submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.
The proposed rules affect Chapters MPSW 3, 11, and 16, relating to discrimination based on arrest or conviction record.
Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 005-19, was approved by the Governor on January 3, 2019, published in Register No. 757A3, on January 14, 2019, and approved by the Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Counseling, and Social Work Examining Board on July 23, 2019.
Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held on October 15, 2019 at 11:00 AM.
