Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to
Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse
On June 18, 2019, the Department of Natural Resources submitted a proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats. Analysis
The proposed rules affect Chapter NR 102, relating to site-specific phosphorus water quality criteria for Petenwell Lake located in Wood, Juneau, and Adams Counties, Castle Rock Lake located in Adams and Juneau Counties, and Lake Wisconsin located in Columbia and Sauk Counties. Statement of Scope
The scope statement for this rule, SS 069-18, was approved by the Governor on June 5, 2018, published in Register No. 750A2 on June 11, 2018, and approved by the Natural Resources Board on June 27, 2018. Agency Procedure for Promulgation
A public hearing is required and will be held August 13, 2019.
