Notes: Notwithstanding section 227.24 (1) (c) and (2) of the statutes, emergency rules promulgated under this subsection remain in effect until July 1, 2020, or the date on which permanent rules take effect, whichever is sooner.

Notwithstanding section 227.24 (1) (e) 1d. and 1g. of the statutes, for emergency rules promulgated under this subsection, the department is not required to prepare a statement of scope of the rules or to submit the proposed rules in final draft form to the governor for approval.

The hearing date, April 10, 2018, although correctly stated in this notice as prepard by DATCP was orignally incorrectly shown as March 10, 2018, in the document header created by Legisaltive Reference Bureau and contained in Register 748A1, publsihed April 2, 2018, The header in Register 748A1 was correctred on April 10, 2018.

NOTICE OF HEARING
Emergency Rule Relating to Industrial Hemp
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) announces that it will hold a public hearing on an emergency rule relating to industrial hemp.
DATCP will hold one public hearing at the time and place shown below.

DATCP invites the public to attend the hearing and comment on the emergency rule. Following the public hearing, the hearing record will remain open until April 20 for additional written public comments.
