PROPOSED RULE TO LEGISLATIVE
COUNCIL RULES CLEARINGHOUSE
The Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (“Department”) announces that it has referred the following proposed rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse, pursuant to s. 227.15, Stats. SUBJECT: Grain Dealers and Warehouse Keepers, Milk Contractors, and vegetable Contractors.

The Department will hold public hearings on this rule on July 14, 2017, in Stevens Point and July 19, 2017, in Madison.
The scope statement for this rule, SS 005-17, was approved by the Governor on January 4, 2017, published in Register No. 733A2 on January 9, 2017, and approved by the Board of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection as required by Wis. Stats § 227.135(2), on February 16, 2017. The Department’s Division of Trade and Consumer Protection is primarily responsible for this rule.
