NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN That, pursuant to ss. 71.05 (8) (c), 71.52 (5) and (6), 78.005 (3), 78.01 (2t), 78.09 (6) and (7), and 227.04, Stats., the Department of Revenue will hold a public hearing to consider a permanent rule revising Sections Tax 13.03, 13.05, 13.06, 13.07, 13.075, 13.08, and 13.13 to address statutory changes in 2013 Act 1; eliminate definitions of terms no longer used; eliminate repetitive rule language and eliminate references to the Badger Fund; update cross-references to statutory provisions; and eliminate rule language that lacks statutory authority.

Interested persons are invited to appear at the hearing and may make an oral presentation. It is requested that written comments reflecting the oral presentation be given to the department at the hearing.
The rule may be reviewed and written comments made at or to the contact person listed below no later than December 22, 2016. Written comments will be given the same consideration as testimony presented at the hearing.
