Notice of Submittal of Proposed Rule to

Legislative Council Rules Clearinghouse

  On November 15, 2016, the State of Wisconsin Department of Transportation submitted a proposed permanent rule to the Wisconsin Legislative Council Clearinghouse pursuant to s. 227.15 (1), Wis. Stats.

Analysis

  The proposed permanent rule affect Ch. Trans 178, relating to Unified Carrier Registration System.

Statement of Scope

  The scope statement for this permanent rule, SS 004-16, was approved by the Governor on January 15, 2016, published in Register No. 721B, on January 25, 2016, and approved by Mark Gottlieb, P.E., as required by Wis. Stat. s. 227.135(2).

Agency Procedure for Promulgation

  A public hearing date will be scheduled for ch. Trans 178, relating to Unified Carrier Registration System in the near future. I will inform you of the date and time as soon as it becomes available.
