NR 45.12(4)(f)2.a. a. Pheasant hunting   $12.00 per person each day for adults and $7.00 per person who is age 17 or younger. In the event pheasant stocking cannot be done on the previous day or days, the pheasant hunting fee will be $5.00 per person each day.
NR 45.12(4)(f)2.b. b. All other hunting   $1.00/person/day
NR 45.12(4)(f)2.c. c. Trapping   $10.00 per season
NR 45.12(4)(f)2.d. d. Administrative fee. A hunting administrative fee of $3.00 shall be paid at the time the reservation is requested and is non-refundable once the reservation is confirmed.
NR 45.12(4)(g) (g) The department may grant building, shelter and picnic area reservations and shall upon request provide a list of parks and forests where reservations are accepted. The fees are:

NR 45.12(4)(g)2.a.a. Enclosed shelters   $70.00 per group per day,
except on northern state forests the fee is

NR 45.12(4)(g)2.b. b. Enclosed shelter with electricity and seating capacity less than 50   $80.00 per group per day,
except on northern state forests the fee is
  $45.00 per group per day.
NR 45.12(4)(g)2.c. c. Enclosed shelter with electricity and seating capacity more than 50   $100.00 per group per day.
NR 45.12(4)(g)3. 3. Picnic areas   $60.00 per group per day.
NR 45.12(4)(g)4. 4. McMiller sports center, Southern Unit Kettle Moraine — $100.00 per group per day during the period when the vehicle admission sticker is not required, and when operated by the department.
NR 45.12(4)(g)5. 5. Visitor center auditorium   $10 per hour, except for government sponsored activities.
NR 45.12(4)(g)6. 6. Other reservable facilities such as amphitheaters, overlooks, boat mooring areas, teepees and yurts: Fees to be established by the department.
NR 45.12(4)(g)7. 7. Reservations are made directly with property staff and may be accepted up to 11 months in advance of the rental date. Applicants who cancel a reservation at least 21 days in advance shall receive a refund of 50 percent of the facility rate payment less a $10.00 reservation fee. Refunds will not be given for cancellation requests received less than 21 days before the facility was to be rented.
NR 45.12(4)(h) (h) Visitors using areas posted subject to self-registration requirements for either vehicle admission stickers, trail passes, mooring fees or camping fees shall pay an additional $5.00 registration fee if they fail to properly self-register or pay at the park office.
NR 45.12(4)(i) (i) Use of dump station for non-registered campers $10.00, in addition to park sticker.
NR 45.12(4)(j) (j) The department may charge participants of department sponsored special events or programs a fee sufficient to cover the cost of providing the program.
NR 45.12(4)(k) (k) The fee for a commercial use permit shall be $50.00 per year, in addition to any applicable admission fee.
NR 45.12(4)(L) (L) The department may determine and charge a fee for special events that includes a base fee plus the actual costs to the department that are anticipated as a result of the event. In determining the base fee and costs, the department may consider impacts including but not limited to all of the following:
NR 45.12(4)(L)1. 1. The number of participants or spectators anticipated for the special event.
NR 45.12(4)(L)2. 2. Additional department staff time required as a result of the special event.
NR 45.12(4)(L)3. 3. Additional maintenance of the property required as a result of the special event.
NR 45.12(4)(L)4. 4. Additional services provided by the department.
NR 45.12(5) (5)This section does not apply to department lands under lease or agreement which provides otherwise. No person may use any facilities without proper payment of appropriate fees established by a lessee or contractor.

NR 45.13 NR 45.13 Specific property rules.
NR 45.13(1)(1)State natural areas — general. Within the boundaries of state natural areas posted with appropriate signs:
NR 45.13(1)(a) (a) No person may take, catch, kill, trap, pursue or remove any wild animal, without written permission from the department. Unless otherwise posted, a person may hunt, fish or trap in accordance with the open seasons as established by chs. NR 10 and 20.
NR 45.13(1)(c) (c) No person may destroy, remove or attempt to remove any plant or plant part, without permission from the department except as provided for in s. NR 45.04 (1) (a) 1. and 2.
NR 45.13(1)(e) (e) No person may engage in rock climbing except at the Dalles of the St. Croix state natural area in Interstate state park and the East Bluff state natural area at Devil's Lake state park, or other areas where the management plan allows rock climbing and in which climbing is allowed by posted notice.
NR 45.13(1m) (1m) Dells of the Wisconsin river state natural area.
NR 45.13(1m)(a)(a) No person may enter or be in the Dells of the Wisconsin River state natural area, including sandbars, between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and the following 5:00 a.m. from May 15th to September 15th, and between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and the following 5:00 a.m. from September 16th to May 14th except where the department has waived these hours and established different hours for special events and programs.
NR 45.13(1m)(b) (b) No person may possess any glass containers in the Dells of the Wisconsin River state natural area.
NR 45.13(1m)(c) (c) No person may light a fire or use a charcoal grill in the Dells of the Wisconsin River state natural area.
NR 45.13(1m)(d) (d) No person may operate a boat at a speed greater than slow-no-wake as defined in s. 30.50 (12), Stats., in the waters of the Wisconsin River within the designated state natural areas from Coldwater Canyon (N43o 39'18.06") downstream approximately 3,700 feet to the area known as Chapel Gorge (N43o 38' 53.58").
NR 45.13(2) (2) Parfrey's Glen, Natural Bridge, Roche-A-Cri Mound, Pewit's Nest, Oakfield Ledge and Gibraltar Rock state natural areas.
NR 45.13(2)(a) (a) No person may possess or consume any food or beverage in the Parfrey's Glen state natural area, Natural Bridge state natural area, Roche-A-Cri Mound state natural area, Pewit's Nest state natural area or Oakfield Ledge state natural area.
NR 45.13(2)(b) (b) No person may enter or be in Parfrey's Glen state natural area and surrounding and adjacent lands in sections 22 and 23, township 11 north, range 7 east, Sauk county, the Natural Bridge state natural area, Pewit's Nest state natural area or Gibraltar Rock state natural area between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
NR 45.13(2)(c) (c) No person may hike in any area of Parfrey's Glen state natural area, Natural Bridge state natural area or Roche-a-Cri Mound state natural area other than on a trail specifically designed and signed for that purpose, except for that portion of the gorge at Parfrey's Glen state natural area that lies within 20 feet of Parfrey's Glen Creek as it flows between the end of the designated hiking trail and the base of the waterfall in the NE1/4 SE1/4 NE1/4 of section 23, township 11 north, range 7 east, or unless authorized to do so in writing by the department.
NR 45.13(2)(d) (d) No person may enter or be in Roche-A-Cri Mound state natural area between the hours of sunset and 6:00 a.m.
NR 45.13(2)(e) (e) No person may enter or be in Oakfield Ledge state natural area between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. except as provided for in s. NR 45.04 (2) (a) 2.
NR 45.13(2g) (2g) Inch lake state natural area.
NR 45.13(2g)(a) (a) No person may possess or transport live fishing bait within 50 feet of the shoreline of Inch Lake on Inch Lake state natural area.
NR 45.13(2g)(b) (b) No person may possess fish harvested from the waters of Inch lake on Inch Lake state natural area.
NR 45.13(2g)(c) (c) No person may possess or transport a watercraft motor or motorized watercraft within 50 feet of the shoreline of Inch lake on Inch Lake state natural area.
NR 45.13 Note Note: These conditions are required by the Articles of Dedication and Conservation Easement for Inch Lake state natural area accepted by the department at the time of acquisition.
NR 45.13(2m) (2m) State parks, recreation areas and southern forest areas. Within the boundaries of state parks, state recreation areas and southern forests, no person may take, pursue, catch, kill, trap or remove any wild animal without written permission from the department except as follows:
NR 45.13(2m)(a) (a) Fishing in accordance with ch. NR 20.
NR 45.13(2m)(b) (b) Hunting in accordance with ch. NR 10 and s. NR 45.09.
NR 45.13(2m)(c) (c) Killing of biting or nuisance insects.
NR 45.13(2m)(d) (d) Harvest of crayfish in accordance with s. NR 19.26.
NR 45.13(2m)(e) (e) Trapping on southern forests or state recreation areas in accordance with ch. NR 10 and this chapter.
NR 45.13(2m)(f) (f) Arthropods collected for purposes of study as part of participation in a department sponsored naturalist or educational program. All collected animals shall be released on the property from which obtained and may not be removed from the property.
NR 45.13(4) (4) Blue mound state park. Violations of any state law, administrative code or any posted user conduct rules of the Blue Mound state park swimming pool by any person is cause for revocation of the pool use privilege.
NR 45.13(5) (5) Devil's lake state park.
NR 45.13(5)(a) (a) No person may operate or use a combustion engine as a power source for a skin diver's generator or air supply (commonly referred to as an air buoy or similar device) on or in the waters of Devil's lake in Devil's Lake state park, sections 13 and 14, T11N, R6E, town of Baraboo, and section 25, T11N, R6E, town of Sumpter, Sauk county.
NR 45.13(5)(b) (b) No person may fish with, possess or control any spear, spear gun, bow and arrow or similar device designed for shooting a projectile unless enclosed in a carrying case while within the boundaries of Devil's Lake state park.
NR 45.13(7) (7) Heritage hill state park. No person may drink or possess any intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverage in Heritage Hill state park except at special events or programs authorized by the department.
NR 45.13(8) (8) High cliff state park. In the waters of High Cliff state park marina, Calumet county, no person may:
NR 45.13(8)(a) (a) Operate a boat or other watercraft at a speed in excess of that required for steerage.
NR 45.13(8)(c) (c) Anchor, moor or dock a boat or watercraft except in the areas provided and designated.
NR 45.13(8)(d) (d) Swim in the marina channel, basin or dock area.
NR 45.13(8)(e) (e) Water ski in the marina area including the channel, and that area of the channel outlet in Lake Winnebago marked by buoys.
NR 45.13(8m) (8m) Interstate state park. No person may jump or dive into the St. Croix river from the park boat ramp upstream to the highway 8 bridge.
NR 45.13(9) (9) Kinnickinnic state park.
NR 45.13(9)(a)(a) All boats mooring offshore overnight within the boundary of Kinnickinnic state park shall be equipped with holding tank and toilet.
NR 45.13(9)(b) (b) The following regulations are applicable to the Kinnickinnic delta use area:
NR 45.13(9)(b)1. 1. Tent camping is restricted to boaters with watercraft which are 22 feet or less in length, and do not have a cabin or cubby suitable for on-board sleeping. Tent campsites are not available to passengers of a vessel larger than 22 feet, any camping party using the lifeboat or dingy of a vessel larger than 22 feet moored elsewhere in the park, or to any camping party whose watercraft is not moored in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.
NR 45.13(9)(b)2. 2. Tent camping is only permitted when department toilet facilities are provided.
NR 45.13(9)(b)3. 3. Tents are restricted to designated campsites.
NR 45.13(9)(b)4. 4. When department toilet facilities are not provided, no person may moor or anchor a watercraft overnight unless equipped with a holding tank and toilet.
NR 45.13(9)(c) (c) Kinnickinnic state park delta tent campground — camping restricted to boaters only — tents are restricted to designated campsites.
NR 45.13(10) (10) Peninsula state park.
NR 45.13(10)(a)(a) Violations of any state law, administrative code, or any posted regulations at the Peninsula state park golf course by any person is cause for revocation of the golfing privilege.
NR 45.13(10)(b) (b) No person may scavenge golf balls on the golf course except by written permit issued by the superintendent.
NR 45.13(10m) (10m)Downhill skiers and snowboarders are not permitted outside of the leased area of Granite Peak ski area within Rib Mountain state park.
NR 45.13(11) (11) Rock island state park. No person may operate a motor vehicle except for motor-driven sleds, toboggans or other snowmobiles on state-owned lands in Rock Island state park.
NR 45.13(11m) (11m) Straight lake state park. The following rules are established for the use of the Straight Lake state park:
NR 45.13(11m)(a) (a) No person may possess any glass containers.
NR 45.13(11m)(b) (b) No person may operate an ice auger powered by a combustion engine.
NR 45.13(12) (12) Whitefish dunes state park. No person may hike in any area other than on a trail specifically designed and signed for that purpose in the dune portion of the Whitefish Dunes state natural area in Whitefish Dunes state park unless authorized to do so in writing by the department.
NR 45.13(13) (13) Yellowstone lake state park. On the waters of Yellowstone lake in Lafayette county, no person may operate a motorboat at a speed greater than 5 miles per hour or in excess of steerage or no wake speed when within 200 feet of the shoreline, or operate any motorboat in any area where notices are posted prohibiting the operation and use of motorboats except that battery-powered electric motors may be operated in the posted areas at a slow-no-wake speed and in no case at a speed to exceed 5 miles per hour. On these waters, no person may operate a motorboat towing a person on water skis, aquaplane or similar device between the hours of 8:00 p.m. and the following 10:00 a.m. No person may leave any boat unattended whether anchored, moored or beached on the waters of Yellowstone lake or on the land within the boundaries of the Yellowstone wildlife area or Yellowstone Lake state park except within the areas designated and posted for these purposes.
NR 45.13(14) (14) Brule river state forest.
NR 45.13(14)(a)(a) On department-owned or managed lands on the Brule river in the Brule River state forest, boats or other watercraft may only be launched or removed at the following designated launching sites:
