NR 45.13(15)(d) (d) No person may take, catch, kill, or remove any animal or pick, collect, or remove any plant or part thereof, without a written permit issued by the property superintendent.
NR 45.13(15)(e) (e) No person may launch or land any powered model aircraft unless done in accordance with the terms and conditions of a permit first obtained from the property superintendent.
NR 45.13(17) (17) Richard bong state recreation area.
NR 45.13(17)(a) (a) Definition. “Richard Bong state recreation area" means that portion of township 2 north, range 20 east, town of Brighton, Kenosha county posted with department markers or signs.
NR 45.13(17)(a)1. 1. `Hunting zone.' All that portion of the Richard Bong state recreation area except that portion described in subd. 3.
NR 45.13(17)(a)2. 2. `Special use zone.' All that portion of the Richard Bong state recreation area lying south of state highway 142 posted with department markers or signs.
NR 45.13(17)(a)3. 3. `Intensive use zone.' All that portion of the Richard Bong state recreation area posted with department markers or signs.
NR 45.13(17)(b) (b) Special use zone.
NR 45.13(17)(b)1.1. Reservations are restricted to groups of 25 or more individuals.
NR 45.13(17)(b)2. 2. Reservations shall be submitted on department forms and will be accepted no more than one year and not less than 10 days in advance of the requested date. The forms are available at the Richard Bong state recreation area headquarters.
NR 45.13(17)(b)3. 3. Reservations may be made at the Richard Bong headquarters in person or by mail.
NR 45.13(17)(b)4. 4. Reservations shall be approved subject to the special use zone calendar under par. (c).
NR 45.13(17)(b)5. 5. Reservations shall be accepted and made on a first-come, first-served basis consistent with the special use zone calendar.
NR 45.13(17)(c) (c) Special use zone calendar. The department shall establish and maintain an annual calendar of use for the recreational uses listed par. (d) recognizing the priority of special uses designated in this section for the dates indicated.
NR 45.13(17)(d) (d) Permitted recreational uses.

NR 45.13(17)(e) (e) Picnics and camping. Picnicking and camping incidental to a use in par. (d) is authorized if indicated as such in the permit.
NR 45.13(17)(f) (f) Priority activities. The following uses shall have priority on a first-come, first-served basis over all other uses during the period indicated:
NR 45.13(17)(f)1. 1. Horse activities, model aircraft flying, dog training on foot, retriever trials, falconry, land sailing, hang gliding, snowmobiling, trail biking and hot air ballooning:
NR 45.13(17)(f)1.a. a. The weekends of June and July,
NR 45.13(17)(f)1.b. b. The first 3 weekends of January, February and August and weekends in December following the close of pheasant season,
NR 45.13(17)(f)1.c. c. The 3-day Memorial Day weekend.
NR 45.13(17)(f)2. 2. Dog trials, dog training and model aircraft flying:
NR 45.13(17)(f)2.a. a. Weekends in March, April, May (except Memorial Day weekend) and September,
NR 45.13(17)(f)2.b. b. Labor Day,
NR 45.13(17)(f)2.c. c. One weekend near mid-October if not in conflict with ss. NR 10.01 and 10.24,
NR 45.13(17)(f)2.d. d. First weekend of October.
NR 45.13(17)(f)3. 3. Hunting during pheasant and waterfowl seasons in accordance with ss. NR 10.01 and 10.24.
NR 45.13(17)(f)5. 5. Waterfowl and bow deer hunting in season as specified in ch. NR 10.
NR 45.13(17)(g) (g) Availability. The zone shall be available to groups on a first-come, first-served basis consistent with the scheduling calendar if not previously reserved.
NR 45.13(17)(h) (h) Uses not listed. Recreational uses not listed in par. (d) shall be approved by the natural resources board prior to authorized use in the zone. Such approved uses shall be adopted as rules on a periodic basis.
NR 45.13(17)(i) (i) Permit limitations. No person may be in any zone or area other than that assigned by department permit or otherwise authorized by the department.
NR 45.13(18) (18) Kettle moraine state forest, lapham peak. No person may take, catch, kill, hunt, trap or pursue any wild animal, or discharge any firearm or air gun as defined in s. 939.22, Stats., or any bow, crossbow, slingshot, or spring-loaded device designed for shooting a projectile while on any department lands designated by posted notice within the Lapham Peak Unit-Kettle Moraine state forest.
NR 45.13(19) (19) Amnicon falls state park. No person may jump or dive into waterways contrary to posted notice at Amnicon Falls state park.
NR 45.13(20) (20) Great river state recreation trail. The following use zones are established on the Great River state recreation trail. No person may hunt, trap or operate a snowmobile except in the appropriate use zone established in this section.
NR 45.13(20)(a) (a) Hunting zone. The hunting zone is all that portion of the Great River state recreation trail lying north and west of CTH “ZN" in La Crosse county to the village of Trempealeau limits in Trempealeau county, and all that portion of the Great River state recreation trail lying north and west of Lehmann road to the Trempealeau national wildlife refuge access road at the junction of West Prairie road in Trempealeau county.
NR 45.13(20)(b) (b) Snowmobile zone. The snowmobile zone is all that portion of the Great River state recreation trail in La Crosse county and Trempealeau county lying south and east of the junction with Lehmann road in Trempealeau county.
NR 45.13(20)(c) (c) Trapping zone. The trapping zone is all that portion of the Great River state recreation trail lying north and west of the CTH “ZN" in La Crosse county to the village of Trempealeau limits in Trempealeau county, and all that portion of the Great River state recreation trail lying north and west of the village of Trempealeau limits to the Trempealeau national wildlife refuge access road at the junction of West Prairie road in Trempealeau county.
NR 45.13(21) (21) Kettle moraine state forest, northern unit. No person may take, catch, kill, hunt, trap or pursue any wild animal, or discharge any firearm or air gun as defined in s. 939.22 (2), Stats., or any bow, crossbow, slingshot, or springloaded device designed for shooting a projectile while on any department lands designated by posted notice in sections 13 and 24 east of Long Lake, and section 25 north of county highway F, T14N, R19E, town of Osceola, Fond du Lac county.
NR 45.13(22) (22) Nevin springs fish and wildlife area. The department may by posted notice restrict the use of center-fire and rim-fire rifles, handguns and shotguns with slugs.
NR 45.13(23) (23) Aztalan state park. Sledding, skiing and snowboarding are prohibited on the Indian mounds at Aztalan state park.
NR 45.13(25) (25) Big bay state park. No person may operate a dog sled on state lands in Big Bay state park unless authorized in writing by the property manager.
NR 45.13(26) (26) Lakeshore state park. The following rules and fees are established:
NR 45.13(26)(a) (a) Alcoholic beverages. No person may drink or possess any intoxicating liquor or fermented malt beverage except by transient boat campers in designated boat slips or by permit. Permits are available at the park office and shall be requested at least 24 hours in advance. The cost of a permit is $25.00. The department may deny a permit based on user conflicts or other public safety considerations.
NR 45.13(26)(b) (b) Event fees. All organized group events using Lakeshore state park are required to obtain a special events use license prior to using the park. The license has a required fee that must be remitted 30 days prior to holding the event. The fee is determined by the number of participants or the type of event.
NR 45.13(26)(b)1. 1. Free Presentations: art events, dance demonstrations, educational     $25.00
NR 45.13(26)(b)2. 2. Family Events: reunions, weddings, picnics   $100.00
NR 45.13(26)(b)3. 3. Fireworks Events: minimum of $300.00. The park is closed to public thoroughfare between the hours of 9:00 p.m. to the end of the fireworks display.
NR 45.13(26)(b)4. 4. Runs/Walks:   $750.00
NR 45.13(26)(b)5. 5. Corporate Events: less than 500 people $500.00, more than 500 people minimum of $2,000/day.
NR 45.13(26)(b)6. 6. Event concession booths:   $75.00/booth.
NR 45.13(26)(c) (c) Marina operations. The following prohibitions and restrictions apply to the marina located at Lakeshore state park:
NR 45.13(26)(c)1. 1. Swimming off docks or piers is prohibited.
NR 45.13(26)(c)2. 2. Fishing off docks or piers is prohibited.
NR 45.13(26)(c)3. 3. Sleeping on docks or piers is prohibited.
NR 45.13(26)(c)4. 4. Quiet hours begin at 11:00 p.m. and continue until 7:00 a.m., except on H. Maier Park festival nights when quiet hours begin at 12:30 a.m.
NR 45.13(26)(c)5. 5. All boaters and guests on park property, on the night of firework events, shall remain on their boat or adjoining slip beginning at 9:00 p.m. and continuing until the end of the fireworks display.
NR 45.13(26)(d) (d) Boat moorage fees.
NR 45.13(26)(d)1.1. `General.' All overnight moorage fees shall be based on the overall length of the watercraft as shown on the boat registration.
NR 45.13(26)(d)2. 2. `Exemption.' Watercraft that are the property of the United States, the State of Wisconsin, and other governmental entities during the performance of official duties are exempt from all moorage fees.
NR 45.13(26)(d)3. 3. `Overnight fees.'
NR 45.13(26)(d)3.a.a. The overnight mooring fee is $1.50 per foot, with a minimum charge of $30.00 per each overnight stay.
NR 45.13(26)(d)3.b. b. The overnight mooring fee reserves the assigned dock from 3:00 p.m. through 1:00 p.m. the following day.
NR 45.13(26)(d)3.c. c. A boater who wishes to occupy the slip prior to 3:00 p.m. may do so if the slip is available.
NR 45.13(26)(d)3.d. d. An overnight boater who wishes to occupy the slip beyond 1:00 p.m. may be permitted to extend the time, if available, at the discretion of the park manager. The boater who is permitted to stay beyond 1:00 p.m. shall pay the daytime temporary moorage rate.
