SB45,56,53(b) The building commission may approve and the department may award a
4grant under sub. (2) or (6) of up to $2,000,000 to assist in the construction,
5development, or renovation of a child care center, as described in par. (a).
SB45,56,136(14) (a) The legislature finds and determines that providing early child
7education and care that addresses provider shortages or assists meeting the
8demand for early child education services in areas of need equips the state's
9workforce to fully engage in the state's economy and is a statewide responsibility of
10statewide dimension. It is therefore in the public interest, and it is the public policy
11of this state, to provide $2,500,000 to Wellpoint Care Network, Inc., to assist in
12renovating an existing facility in the city of Milwaukee to establish a child care
13center.

9balanced among geographic areas of the state that correspond to the geographic
10areas served by each continuum of care organization designated by the federal

12applications submitted.

23program guidelines for the grant program under this subsection.

22s. 973.0452, are insufficient to provide grants to crime victim services

24that moneys received are insufficient, the secretary shall determine the amount of

1the supplement, but the secretary may not determine an amount that is larger than
2the difference between $44,500,000 and the sum of the moneys received in each
3fiscal year under 34 USC 20103 plus the moneys received in each fiscal year under
4s. 973.0452.
SB45,62,65(2) In determining under sub. (1) whether the moneys received are
6insufficient, the secretary may consider any factor, including:
SB45,62,77(a) The needs of rural and urban communities.
SB45,62,98(b) The amount of funding that a crime victim services organization receives
9as a percentage of its operating budget from the state or federal government.
SB45,62,1110(c) The degree to which the services of a crime victim services organization
11are coordinated with other resources in the community and state.
SB45,62,1412(d) The degree to which the services of a crime victim services organization
13are provided either directly or through a contract, subcontract, service agreement,
14or collaborative agreement with other organizations, entities, or individuals.

5physical condition, developmental disability, as defined in s. 51.01 (5), sexual
6orientation, gender expression, as defined in s. 111.32 (7j), gender identity, as
7defined in s. 111.32 (7k), or national origin. This provision shall include, but not be
8limited to, the following: employment, upgrading, demotion, or transfer;
9recruitment or recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; rates of pay or other
10forms of compensation; and selection for training, including apprenticeship. Except
11with respect to sexual orientation, gender expression, and gender identity, the
12contractor further agrees to take affirmative action to ensure equal employment
13opportunities. The contractor agrees to post in conspicuous places, available for
14employees and applicants for employment, notices to be provided by the contracting
15officer setting forth the provisions of the nondiscrimination clause. clause.
