AB282-AA1,1,2 1. Page 1, line 5: before that line insert:

AB282-AA1,1,3 “Section 1s. 59.11 (1) (c) of the statutes is amended to read:

AB282-AA1,1,9 59.11 (1) (c) The board, except in counties with a population of 750,000 or more, shall meet on the 3rd Tuesday of each April in each even-numbered year to organize and transact business. At this meeting the board may transact any business permitted at the annual meeting, including the appointment of all county commissions and committees. The meeting may be adjourned in the same manner as the annual meeting.”.

AB282-AA1,1,10 2. Page 2, line 2: after “59.12” insert “or as otherwise required by law”.

AB282-AA1,1,11 3. Page 2, line 2: after that line insert:

AB282-AA1,2,2 “(b) 1. The rules of proceedings under par. (a) shall define a session of the board as the period between the organizational meetings in sub. (1) (c).”.

AB282-AA1,2,3 4. Page 2, line 3: delete “(b)” and substitute “2.”.

AB282-AA1,2,5 5. Page 2, line 6: delete the material beginning with “at” and ending with “earlier” on line 7 and substitute “in a different session of the board”.
