Biodigesters are used to break down organic material into gases, liquids, and solids.

SB750,,44The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and assembly, do enact as follows: SB750,15Section 1. 20.005 (3) (schedule) of the statutes: at the appropriate place, insert the following amounts for the purposes indicated: SB750,26Section 2. 20.115 (7) (u) of the statutes is created to read: SB750,,7720.115 (7) (u) Grants for regional biodigesters. From the environmental fund, the amounts in the schedule for providing planning grants for establishing regional biodigesters. SB750,38Section 3. 93.74 of the statutes is created to read: SB750,,9993.74 Grants for regional biodigesters. (1) Grant program. From the appropriation under s. 20.115 (7) (u), the department shall provide planning grants for establishing regional biodigesters. SB750,,1010(2) Rules. The department shall promulgate rules for the administration of this section. SB750,411Section 4. Effective date. SB750,,1212(1) This act takes effect on the day after publication, or on the 2nd day after publication of the 2023 biennial budget act, whichever is later.
